Some men are particularly good at making the girls who care about them feel like shit about themselves, feel like everything is their fault, feel bad for being rational or strong or human. They are particularly effective because they can make themselves look like the victim in any given situation, manipulation at its finest, perhaps not even on purpose, yet leaving their beautiful women to feel guilty, desperate, worthless.
People look at these girls and say, why does she stay? Why is she so dumb? Why doesn’t she listen to our advice? Why is she so weak?
They don’t understand how impossibly blinding such men are. If you’ve never loved one, you really can’t get it.
They also don’t understand how much strength it stays to stay with someone like that, how much love these women are acting on.
Sometimes girls just need to go through that to learn what they are and are not willing to put up with, to learn their own worth and to see how much better life is when they do finally find their own way.
I understand you, ladies.
All I can say to you is that there is no such thing as soulmates, but there is a guy out there that will treat you better and you’ll love even more than him. All I know is I was certain I needed him, and yet here I am better off only a couple months later. And I don’t know any girl whose regretted breaking up with one of these kinds of guys. When you’re ready you’ll do it and you’ll be glad you did, and you will have learned a lot.
